PickupX ("we", "us") is a goods-delivery platform operating in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, operated by LetsInvent Ventures LLP and developed by Prakash Rao. This policy explains what information our apps collect, why, and the choices you have. By using PickupX you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Customers (PickupX app)
- Mobile number (used to log in with a one-time password), name, email address, and whether you use PickupX for business or personal deliveries.
- Pickup and drop locations you enter or choose on the map, saved places, booking details, fares, ratings you give drivers, and chat messages you send to your driver.
- Your device location, only when you choose "Use current location" while booking.
Drivers and vehicle owners (PickupX Partner app)
- Mobile number, owner and driver names and phone numbers, city, and vehicle details (type, registration number, body and fuel type).
- Identity and vehicle documents for verification: Aadhaar card, PAN card, a live selfie, vehicle RC, and driving licence (taken with the camera or chosen from your gallery).
- Precise location while you are online, including when the app is in the background, so nearby bookings can be offered to you and customers can track their delivery. Location is not collected while you are offline.
- Trip history, earnings, platform-fee records, ratings, training-video progress, and chat messages you send to customers.
Both apps: a push-notification token for booking alerts and announcements, and basic technical information needed to run the service (for example, app language).
2. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and log you in.
- To match bookings with nearby available drivers, calculate distance and fares, and show live trip progress.
- To verify drivers and vehicles before approval, and to keep the platform safe.
- To send booking alerts, trip updates, chat messages between you and your driver or customer, and service announcements.
- To provide customer and driver support, and to keep records of trips and fees.
We do not sell your personal information, and our apps do not show advertisements.
3. Sharing
- Between customers and drivers: for an accepted booking, the customer sees the driver's name, photo, phone number, vehicle and live location; the driver sees the customer's or pickup contact's name, phone number and the pickup/drop addresses. Chat messages about a booking are seen by that booking's customer and driver, and by PickupX support when needed to resolve a complaint.
- Service providers who help us run PickupX: Google Maps Platform (maps, address search, routes), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), and our web hosting provider. They process data only to provide these services.
- Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the safety of users and the public.
Driver verification documents are visible only to authorised PickupX staff and are never shown to customers.
4. Storage and security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on our secured servers. Access to verification documents is restricted to logged-in PickupX administrators.
5. Retention and deletion
- You can delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Delete account (customers) or My Profile → Delete Account (drivers).
- After deletion your account and login are removed. Records of completed trips, payments and platform fees may be kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.
- You can also ask us to delete your data by contacting us (see below).
6. Your choices
- You can allow or deny location, camera and notification permissions in your phone's settings. Some features (for example, going online as a driver) need them to work.
- You can update your profile details in the app.
7. Children
PickupX is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
